Cebularz – Polish onion cake.

Me a and  Maciej decided to make this rare polish Jewish specialty, the recipe comes from the eastern part of Poland where Maciej lived once in a life time. To his surprise this baked dish is served only in the area where he lives! When we first he if i have ever tried this simple and unique dish but my simple answer was NO I DIDN’T! About a week ago Maciej discovered this wonderful cooking blog called “Zapiecek” from which we copied the idea to make cebularz. If you know polish you can read about it here. Tomorrow I am going to share some with my friends from my work place, and I can’t wait for their reaction!

Shopping… shopping…

I went shopping today, it was unplaned. Maciej said: “Lets go and see Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs” and I couldn’t say “no”. I love Ice Age. I booked tickets for 8 p.m. and we went to Sofia Mall. We had some spare time before the movie, so… I decided to run through every single shop – I know I am crazy, but who cares?? Not me :) So, I bought lovely Mango dress (50% off), bow belt and two tops.  I couldn’t resist.

My name day is on July 5th . I can’t wait to spend some great time with Maciej and my friends  (they don’t know about it yet, but after reading this post they gonna realize the truth :P ). Maciej and me are planing to make BBQ at out balcony. It is going to be so much fun!!
