Yay!! What a great change after almost a month of rain.

Saturday. When I was dressing up in the morning I was really happy with my outfit. I haven’t been wearing this dress for a year now. But when I saw the pictures, I thought that something is wrong here. I don’t really feel that this type of dresses is good for me. What do you think? Am I just crazy? Or what?

I feel way better in a shorter dresses…

I love my shoes here… they are stylish, comfortable…

Also, while searching for Lucky Brand Kristine wedge sandals I discovered 3 auctions on ebay (starting at $44.99 and higher). I am pretty sure one of the sellers bought the pair at TJ Maxx and now is trying to sell it on ebay, just look at the green size labels. Does it look familiar to you? LOL! Busted!

Unfortunately I couldn’t find Kate Spade New York wedge sandals. They might be sold out or from more than 2 seasons. Which makes me wonder why they still have them at TJ Maxx.

That is why I just admire buying stuff on ebay and at TJ Maxx or Marshals.

My last trip to TJ Maxx wasn’t that great thou… (I am kind of disappointed) A lot of designer shoes: Dolce and Gabbana, Kate Spade, Pour la Victoire, L.A.M.B., Modern Vintage and many more… But when I saw the price tags: starting at $299 for D&G, $150 for KS and $99 for the rest I was like, “OK! The city where I live is small… I have never saw here a single person wearing D&G or other high fashion brands (you folks love Coach, right? haha… JK!), so WHO is going to buy these? No one!?”.

So I decided to give myself a week or so and come back next Wednesday. They might put these gorgeous shoes on sale! or move them to another store.

Or you can even ask them to buy a garment you are craving for so long and they will use their employee discount. You have a lot of possibilities…

Not everyone is capable to do that… I remember times when I was picking vegetables and fruits every single day for about 3 months in a  row every year. Sometimes I was like quiting my job after 15 minutes of bending over and picking pickling cukes, tomatoes, zucchini and sumer squash but also there were days when I was really proud that I work there.

The best thing about working on a farm is taking care of animals. Here you can see some pictures of two new born cows and my favorite brown cow (Unfortunately, I don’t remember its name, so lets name it “Heidi”. I was always keen on giving names to cows. The best name I gave to a caw was “Happy Meal” and “Baconator”:)

I managed to wear a skirt without need of tights and I was warm enough to survive.

After living in Bulgaria for almost 7 years I got used to sunny weather all year round. But here in Maine life is different… Its May and the highest temperature is about 60s, with rain, thunderstorms and clouds all day long. The sunny weather like this is something I was praying to God for and finally I can enjoy the first sign of sunny days coming.

These pictures are from Sunday. After spending all weekend seating at the couch/chilling/watching polish TV/eating home made hamburgers, polish kielbasa, fried clams and drinking beer we came up with an idea to move our ass and go for a walk. Our destination – Kennebunkport, ME.

The most comfortable boots ever. I am glad I bought them. Love the vintage looking leather and love the studs…very unique. You can still purchase them from UO for $29.99(what a steal!!!) – available in black and brown.

I am glad the Spring finally came and I can bury my heavy, winter sweaters and dark colors deep in the closet.

These orange (peachy in a daylight) skinny jeans are my favorite. The only think that concerns me is the lack of suitable tops that I could pair with these adorable skinnies. But I have to work with the garments I own in my wardrobe, that’s why I am wearing my multicolor shirt from UO.

 

Footnote – do not wear a ponytail with all buttoned up shirt, because you can look ridiculous.
